[ome-users] webadmin login

I just installed Omero 4.0.3 (Unix) and have the server started. 
Unexpectedly I am stuck on the login page for OMERO.webadmin with the 
error message 'Error: PermissionDeniedException' after entering root 
for username and the same password as was entered during the 
installation for new OMERO root user.  Password is 8 digits long.

Any suggestions?
