[ome-users] 4.0.1 release of Bio-Formats

Hi,
Today LOCI (http://loci.wisc.edu) and Glencoe Software
(http://glencoesoftware.com) have released version 4.0.1 of Bio-Formats
(http://loci.wisc.edu/ome/formats.html). This release includes the
following changes:
* Lots of bug fixes in most format readers and writers
* Added support for Analyze 7.5 files
* Added support for NIfTI files
* Added support for Cellomics .c01 files
* Major refactoring of the ImageJ plugins
* Java 1.5 is required for Bio-Formats, the loci.common package and the ImageJ
plugins
* Eliminated native library dependency for reading lossless JPEGs
* Changed license from GPL v3 or later to GPL v2 or later
* Updated Olympus FV1000, Zeiss LSM, Zeiss ZVI and Nikon ND2 readers to parse
ROI data
* Added option to ImageJ plugin for displaying ROIs parsed from the chosen
dataset
* Fixed BufferedImage construction for signed data and unsigned int data

We have not yet planned a release date for the next version of Bio-Formats.
