[ome-users] LDAP connections

Hello, 

I am using omero-Beta4.1.0 and connecting to an OpenLDAP directory for user authentication. It works well however it seems that there are way too many connections created from the ome server to the directory server, ~200. To me it looks like it opens connections but never closes them. Any way to correct this through configuration?
