Hi Chris,
Thanks for the reply.
I tried giving the ipaddress/hostname combinations it is not possible for me to invoke the OMERO Client.
I have executed the following commands to make the ports listen for the client access,
iptables -A INPUT -p tcp --dport 1098 -j ACCEPT
iptables -A INPUT -p tcp --dport 1099 -j ACCEPT
iptables -A INPUT -p tcp --dport 4444 -j ACCEPT
iptables -A INPUT -p tcp --dport 3873 -j ACCEPT
My /etc/hosts file is in the format,
127.0.0.1 localhost
ipaddress hostname
I have tried with various combinations of server address, its not possible for me to invoke the client properly both in Windows & Linux.
I have tried to invoke the Omero client in Fedora (Where OMERO Server deployed),
On specifying the login credentials "root/omero" the OMERO Insight/Importer Screen freezes and I am unable to proceed further.
Is that anything I have missed out?
My OMERO Server version is omero-Beta3.1.1 and my client version is OMERO.clients-Beta.3.1.2
Could you please help me in resolving the above problem?
Thanks in Advance.
Thanks & Regards,
Sriram.

That's not the correct server address. You enter just the IP address
or hostname not the URL to the WebAdmin application.
