[ome-users] Further questions about broken server

Glenn,
   It sounds like you haven't initialized your database, per the 
postgres setup instructions.  Check out:
http://www.postgresql.org/docs/8.3/interactive/installation.html

Look especially at the step that requires you to run "initdb".
