[ome-devel] Auto open ome.tif file without BF Importer Dialog

This is a limitation of ImageJ1. The ".ome.tif" extension is a ".tif" which
means ImageJ's internal TIFF logic is used, not Bio-Formats, when you say
File > Open.

This is problem has been addressed in ImageJ2 through the use of SCIFIO and
I/O plugins as first-class citizens:
    http://developer.imagej.net/

In the meantime, if you want drag-and-drop with Bio-Formats in ImageJ1, you
can run Plugins > LOCI > LOCI Plugins Shortcuts Window and then drop onto
that window.
