Brilliant. Setting a default host will be a great help. Glad to say that all our local modifications to OMERO are now redundant!

first, thanks for all the feedback on the webstart front! Several of the issues you've brought up are being addressed on under [PR286]. We're still in the processing of testing, so the standard "use at your own risks" caveats apply. If you have any more suggestions, let us know.
