Hi Bernd-

The most up-to-date reference for the whole OME project is:

Swedlow et al. 2009. Bioimage Informatics for Experimental Biology. Annu Rev Biophys. 38:327-346. PMID: 19416072

This describes OME, Bio-Formats and OMERO. A new paper on OMERO is being submitted, and we'll let you know when (if?) that sees the light of day.

For Bio-Formats specifically, the latest reference is:

Linkert et al. 2010. Metadata matters: access to image data in the real world. J Cell Biol. 189:777-782. PMID: 20513764

Thanks for the citation! We'll get this on the web site....

Cheers,

Jason
