Dear All-
Well, it's that time again-- we are trying to obtain more funding to
continue OME's work (the project is currently funded until Oct 2011).
It will come as no surprise that a critical measure of our success and
determinant of future funding, is feedback from the community.
OME exists to provide useful tools for scientific imaging. We have
various ways of measuring the utility of our tools (downloads,
installs, upgrade checks), but nothing beats real user feedback. Our
funders need to see your words and comments to assess how we are
doing, and whether they should continue funding us.
We're therefore requesting you send any feedback you have, whether
positive or negative. Particularly helpful are comments that suggest
priorities for the future.
You can send to this list, or directly to me. All direct responses
will not be published, but will be included in our funding
applications, and so subject to normal peer review.
Our application goes in mid-December, so you have all of November to
think about this and submit any comments or suggestions. We'll send a
reminder at end of November.
As always, thanks for your support,
Cheers,
Jason
