Dear All-

Just a quick thank you to all those who joined us in paris for this
year's OME User's Meeting. The meeting was very important for the OME
Team-- we got a huge amount out of it, and have clear marching orders
for the coming year. During yesterday's weekly OMERO team meeting (http://www.openmicroscopy.org/site/community/minutes/conference-calls/2009/2009-05-22-ome-group-conference-call
) we began the process of turning the issues of DataIn/DataOut and
Data Duplication into real work. Planning and defining tasks will go
ahead next week and you will soon see appropriate updates to our
roadmaps.

Our thanks to all the speakers who presented, and to PerkinElmer for
their support of the meeting. Our sense is that this was our most
successful meeting ever, driven by the size and the diversity of
interests and input. It certainly was a great discussion.

It's back to work for us!!! Those of you coming to ELMI (http://www.elmi2009.org/
) can join us in a workshop there, and we will of course be back at
ASCB (http://www.ascb.org/meetings/) in December.

Look forward to seeing you all again, hopefully at next year's meeting.

Thanks again!

Cheers,

Jason
