Do you mean Debian/testing (i.e. Etch) or "Debian machines for testing"?

Yep. Same issues I ran into. There are several bugs touching on this issue:

I also volunteered to do the package dependencies, but for that I need a
box. Perhaps we could talk.

This is bizaare. I currently have:
