As we've mentioned, Curtis, we're certainly interested in (re-)using the 
abilities of the VisBio importer. Would you mind looking at the 
"Potpourri" email and let me know if you can see any way to handle the 
other use cases. (Especially the dynamic uploading of files as they are 
produced.)

However at the moment, I have a backlog of several hundred experiments 
each with about a hundred time steps.
