[ome-devel] "Can't locate object method "pageURL" ..", success! ( albeit somewhat qualified)

Hi there,

Thanks for your response. I have updated from cvs and reinstalled.

I got this error the first time:

This installer did not appear to use any different packages ( all were 
found) except for MD5 which I accepted to have installed from the 
repository.

So....

I then proceeded to drop the ome database ( btw, it appeared to get 
loaded up with duplicate indexes for the many times I tried reinstalling ).

I reinstalled and therefore got more questions for which I always chose 
the default answers. I deleted the session cookie in my browser. I think 
that I would definitely recommend dropping the database and deleting the 
cookie if one has such problems.

I brought up the url, got the login page, and got the home page just 
fine. I thought I was home free until I got errors in clicking several 
of the links and it was always a problem loading 
OME::Web::XMLFileExport. Thing is, when I backpedaled the browser and 
picked the same link(s), it worked. I have logged off and back on and 
haven't gotten the error in many clicks. Weird. Could it be a threading 
issue somewhere?

In any case, for the moment, I am quite happy getting this far and will 
continue exploring the interface.
