[lm-announce] New Zeiss 710 - training opportunity

Dear All,

I am delighted to announce that we have completed installation of the new Zeiss 710 multiphoton/confocal microscope.  In the first instance, Zeiss will be visiting on the 2nd and 3rd of April to provide training.  We will run 3 sessions as follows:

Wednesday 2nd April at 2 pm:  DNA Damage – for people who have a specific interest in using the UV laser and CLSM for DNA damage/recruitment
Thursday 3rd April, 10 am – 12 30 pm:  New users – for those of you who have little or no experience of confocal microscopy and have an immediate need of CLSM
Thursday 3rd April, 2pm – 4 pm:  Current users – for those of you who have used one of our other Zeiss 710 microscopes or who have a reasonable level of experience in CLSM generally and need an overview of the new system
