Hi All,

The temperature regulator for the live cell chamber on the M Floor Spectris was, this morning, found to have been switched off. As you can imagine, this caused a great deal of inconvenience for the scheduled user who had to postpone their experiment for a couple of hours until the chamber temperature reached 37 degrees again.
The M Floor Spectris and the 2nd Floor Spectris are dedicated live cell systems and should permanently be at 37 degrees. There are other systems available for room temperature work. If however, you have to change the temperature on one of these 2 systems, you MUST ensure that it is reset to 37 degrees before you leave and preferably a couple of hours before the next user.

Regards,

Calum.
