[lm-announce] Reminder - back your data up or risk losing it!

Dear All,

Can I take this opportunity to remind everybody to back their data up to the LMF server immediately after acquisition.  The hard drives on the microscopes do fail – almost all of the microscopes have now had at least one hard drive failure, some of them have had multiple disk crashes – and there is little we can do to recover data.  It sounds obvious, but the easiest way to avoid losing your data is to move it to the server as soon as you have finished your microscope session.  If anybody has any questions about data back up or any outstanding issues with server access, please let me know.
