Hi All,

While we are awaiting replacement lamp housings for our DeltaVision microsopes, we have decided to replace the faulty Xenon light source on the M Floor Spectris with an "old fashioned" mercury one. For those of you unfamiliar with these, you have to switch on using the green switch on the power unit which is on the bench to the right of the 'scope, and wait for the small green light above switch to ignite (this may take a few seconds). The lamp hours are on a counter on the power unit. Clicking the lamp icon in the software will not do anything.
If you have any doubts about this, please do not hesitate to contact one of us, and we will show you what to do.

Thanks,

Calum.
