[lm-announce] Zeiss seminar and workshop

Dear All,

Just a reminder that we have Zeiss here today running a seminar and  
demonstration.  If anybody has suddenly discovered today's experiment  
has failed and would like to drop in on any or all of this, please  
feel free to do so.  If you would like to pop along and say hello to  
your friendly Zeiss area manager, he will be available in the WTB  
foyer at 12 noon today.

Finally, I have 2 spaces available for the workshop tomorrow - one in  
the morning and one in the afternoon.  Let me know if you're interested.

TIMETABLE: Tuesday 15th November

Seminar, JBC MEZZ (10 am – 12 noon)

·      	Optical sectioning without lasers.  Introduction to ApoTome.2  
and VivaTome, including demonstration.

·      	Live cell imaging tips and tricks

    COFFEE BREAK

·      	Introduction to Spinning disc and TIRF microscopy.

·      	Overview of Optical sectioning techniques.

Buffet lunch, Wellcome Trust Foyer (12noon – 1pm)

Practical Demonstration, 2nd floor WTB (1pm onwards)

Group demonstrations/hands on experience of Apotome2 and Vivatome.
