Dear All,
On Sunday evening at half past 8, it would appear that somebody
signed a user off the 2nd floor spectris during the middle of an
experiment. Mistakes happen, but in this instance I need the
following to happen -
1. Whoever it was needs to get in touch with me immediately. I can
find out who you are, but it's a lot quicker and I'll be much less
grumpy if you come forward.
2. When using a microscope, at all times, you need to book on the web
calendar. This avoids the danger of the microscope being double
booked. Just because it's Sunday night does not mean the microscope
is going to be available. Do not forget to fill in the log book.
3. If you make a mistake - from accidentally signing a user out
through to pouring arsenic over the camera - you must let me know,
either as a matter of courtesy or to avoid expensive damage being
doing to the equipment.
Thanks,
Sam
