[lm-announce] 2nd floor spectris - broken

Dear All,

We have had some problems with the 2nd floor spectris, which is now  
extremely unstable due to an issue with the workstation graphics  
card.  The engineer was informed last week and should effect a repair  
at some point later this week.  In the meantime this microscope is  
more or less unusable.

Apologies for the inconvenience this will undoubtedly cause,
