[lm-announce] DeltaVision update

Dear All,

Just to update you on the status of our broken DeltaVisions -

1) LMF spectris is down with a broken stage motor.  This will be  
replaced on Monday.
2) 2nd floor spectris has a damaged camera - I have replaced this  
with a spare I have.  The original is off for repair and should be  
back within 10 to 14 days.  If you have problems with the spare that  
I have provided, we can swap the HQ with the EMCCD.  Please let me  
know how you get on.
3) The M floor DV3 has a broken ICMIC.  This will be with us on  
Monday or Tuesday next week and will be swapped out as soon as it  
arrives.
4)  Following various software revisions there are problems with the  
photosensor readings.  We are working with the manufacturer to  
resolve this; in the meantime, if your deconvolved images "flicker"  
between frames, please run the deconvolution again with the  
photosensor disabled.

I'll email again at the start of next week with a progress report.
