Dear All,

We have made significant changes to the IR laser input to the BioRad,  
following a visit from Coherent this week.  BioRad will be visiting  
on Wednesday 11th March to confirm that this microscope is working to  
spec.  Could ALL of you working (or intending to work) in MP mode  
with this microscope please arrange a time to speak to me prior to  
using it - there are some important laser safety issues concerning  
use that you need to be aware of and I also need to explain the  
modified light path and laser control.
