[lm-announce] Please remove DIC parts!!!

Dear All,

For those of you doing DIC, please make a supreme effort to remove  
all the DIC components when you have finished.  We keep on finding  
the analysers and prisms left in the light path, which cuts the next  
user's fluorescence signal by about two thirds.

Similarly, if you suddenly notice a huge drop in fluorescence from  
one session to the next, come and ask us to check everything is set  
up properly.  You don't want to waste your whole session just because  
the last person thoughtlessly left the DIC components in the light path.

We carry blackberry's - if nobody's in the office, email us and we  
will come and help you.
