[lm-announce] Total erase of data on workstations

Dear All,

Despite constant reminders, people are failing to remove their data  
from the workstations in LMF and from the microscopes.  This is  
continuing to inhibit people from performing experiments and  
analysing data.  We will therefore be:

- deleting all data from microscopes if i is more than 1 week old.
- deleting all data from analysis workstations on a weekly basis  
regardless of how long it has been there

We will, of course, make allowances on acquisition machines if there  
have been problems with server access.

Please remember to do the following:

- make sure you allow time to move your data to Zeus once you have  
collected it
- make sure you let us know if there is a problem with the microscope  
or server that has stopped you doing this
- make sure you do not leave any data on an analysis workstation  
after your session ends; it will be deleted
