[lm-announce] DeltaVision upgrades

Dear All,

As some of you will be aware,5 of our DeltaVision systems are to be upgraded to DeltaVision Core systems.These upgrades will take place over the 2 weeks Monday 26th May to Friday 6th June.Therefore some of the microscopes will be unavailable during this time.
We have arranged the upgrade schedule as follows:

Lamond Lab microscopes 26th-29th May
LMF/CRUK/Nathke lab microscope 28th-30th May (As this microscope shares the same room,the Leica SP2 confocal will also be unavailable)
2nd Floor/Swedlow lab microscope 2nd-4th June
LMF Spectris 3rd-5th June

The Tanaka lab RT will be unaffected.

If all goes well,then some systems will be up and running ahead of schedule,but as you all know,things hardly ever run smoothly,so please allow for some disruption;we will keep you all up to date on our progress.
Due to the changes in configuration of the microscopes,you will all need a small training session to let you know what the differences are between the old and new systems.I'll leave that up to Sam to arrange,so expect an email concerning this.
