[lm-announce] M floor spectris, DV3 and SP2

Dear All,

We finally got some spare parts!  I'm delighted to inform you that  
both the Mfloor spectris and Mfloor DV3 are both up and running again  
and can be booked from the web calendar as usual.  The m floor  
spectris now has 3 working laser lines (406, 488 and 532) for paGFP,  
FRAP and FRET.  Repairs to both systems were fairly extensive, so  
please let me know straight away if you have any problems.

We have updated the logins to the Leica SP2 - please log in with your  
LM user name and password from now on and run LCS under the  
"personal" setting.  There may be some minor issues that come to  
light when you first use the microscope; please give me a shout if  
this affects you and I'll be glad to help iron them out.  To forewarn  
you, you may be required to alter your personal settings in the LCS  
software in order for it to run properly.  It's not a big deal.

I'd also like to take this opportunity to thank Chris, Laura and  
Michel for their help in getting all this stuff up and running again.
