Dear All,

1.  The LMF DV3 has been upgraded and can be booked through the  
online calendar.  It now has the same software as the LMF spectris,  
which should make everyone's lives a little easier.  Any problems or  
questions, give me a shout.

2.  I am in the process of moving my desk (or rather, the junk on it)  
and can now be found in Alan Prescott's old office in Electron  
Microscopy.

3.  Thanks to everyone for removing their old data from the  
microscopes and workstations.  By the time you read this, Chris  
should have deleted any user data more than a few days old.  We will  
be wiping user data from these hard drives on a regular basis now, so  
please make sure you keep on top of your data management - we won't  
be able to give advance warning in the future.

4.  Software on the Spectris microscopes and the workstations in the  
LMF has been updated.  This includes improved PK analysis software,  
an autofocus tool for imaging and some other groovy features you'll  
no doubt notice next time you're on.  If you want a run through, let  
me know, but it's all covered in the online help and is pretty self  
explanatory.
