Dear All,

Tomo Tanaka's group have arranged a demonstration of Applied  
Precision's latest specification Deltavision, which comes with a high  
speed shutter and EMCCD camera.  Tomo and I would be delighted for  
any other interested users to test the system, which should be with  
us until the start of January.  It is in 105E, next to the LMF  
spectris, and I have put a booking sheet on the microscope table.  It  
will be available for general use as of Monday.  The system comes  
with both a coolsnap and cascade 512B EMCCD - if you would like to do  
a side by side comparison of the cameras please let me know and I'll  
swap them over for you.  It also comes with the standard QUAD filter  
set.  There is no QLM, no chamber and no JP3 or JP4 filter sets.  LMF  
will be supporting this system while it is here so please ask if you  
have any problems or questions, and I'm sure it goes without saying  
that it would be a good idea if it went back to the vendor in the  
same condition it arrived in.
