<p class="MsoNormal">Yes, this is a known issue with the NetCDF library distributed with FIJI and Imaris files.<o:p></o:p></p>

<p class="MsoNormal">As I understand it, the Bioformats / FIJI teams are unable to include the latest NetCDF with FIJI as it causes problems with some other plugins (although I have not noticed which ones).<o:p></o:p></p>

<p class="MsoNormal">They are aware of this issue and will fix it when they can. I have reported the issue and supplied some IMS files to their bug tracking system.<o:p></o:p></p>

<p class="MsoNormal">You will need to “patch” FIJI and ensure that the NetCDF file is deleted and replaced with the latest from here:<o:p></o:p></p>

<p class="MsoNormal">Delete the NetCDF file in the jars directory of your FIJI install and copy this one instead. (It does not matter about the names being different).<o:p></o:p></p>

<p class="MsoNormal">You should then be able to open 99% of IMS files (there are still some issues relating to resolution and also very long e.g. ~7000 frame time series).<o:p></o:p></p>
