<div>Sorry for being slow to respond— the last few weeks have been quite intense. In my lab we downloaded, installed and used orbit for very simple tasks— opening images from our production OMERO server, some simple analysis. It worked very well (this was
all on Windows 7), with a very nice interface, and at least a visual inspection suggested a nice array of tools. We haven’t stressed it yet (we’ve been stressed about other things) but look forward to doing so.</div>

<div style="font-size:12.8px">It comes with an Omero connector and can be used together with a scaleout infrastructure like Spark (but also standalone).</div>

<div style="font-size:12.8px">The main focus is whole slide image analysis, but can be used to quantify normal microscopy images as well.</div>
