Dear All,
<div><br>
</div>
<div>A workaround has been found for the Java upgrade issue we acknowledged last week (<a href="http://lists.openmicroscopy.org.uk/pipermail/ome-users/2015-July/005494.html">http://lists.openmicroscopy.org.uk/pipermail/ome-users/2015-July/005494.html</a>). </div>
<div><br>
</div>
<div>It doesn't require downloading new clients, instead you should ensure you update your Java version to take advantage of the security update and ask your system administrator to apply a patch to the server configuration and then restart the server.</div>
<div><br>
</div>
<div>Full details can be found on <a href="http://blog.openmicroscopy.org/tech-issues/2015/07/21/java-issue/">http://blog.openmicroscopy.org/tech-issues/2015/07/21/java-issue/</a></div>
<div><br>
</div>
<div>This applies to both 5.0 and 5.1 servers.</div>
<div><br>
</div>
<div>Regards,</div>
