Hi Nathan,<div><br></div><div>I've tested the 2.3 OMERO server/importer/insight by taking a Deltavision file, importing it with the archive option enabled, and then going into insight and retrieving the archived image.</div><div><br></div><div>After this, I used the md5 tool from the Mac Terminal by typing "md5 testimage.dv". For me, both the original and the retrieved file have the exact same MD5.</div><div><br></div><div>Would you mind trying this with your image, and let me know if the MD5's are the same? If they are, then the file you saved using archive is exactly the same as the file you imported originally.</div><div><br></div><div>If they aren't the same, something very odd is going on and your file has been corrupted during the archive or retrieval phase.</div><div><br></div><div>All of my testing here seems ok, so I suspect that the original file you have might be corrupt. Have you been able to open the file at the scope and scroll through all the planes in the file?</div><div><br></div><div>Let me know what you find.</div><div><br></div><div>Thanks,</div><div><br></div><div><div> <span class="Apple-style-span" style="border-collapse: separate; border-spacing: 0px 0px; color: rgb(0, 0, 0); font-family: Helvetica; font-size: 12px; font-style: normal; font-variant: normal; font-weight: normal; letter-spacing: normal; line-height: normal; text-align: auto; -khtml-text-decorations-in-effect: none; text-indent: 0px; -apple-text-size-adjust: auto; text-transform: none; orphans: 2; white-space: normal; widows: 2; word-spacing: 0px; "><div>Brian Loranger</div><div>Software Developer, Open Microscopy Environment</div><div>Division of Gene Regulation and Expression</div><div>University of Dundee</div><div><br class="khtml-block-placeholder"></div><br class="Apple-interchange-newline"></span> </div><br><div><div>On 12 Jun 2008, at 17:17, Nathan Brady wrote:</div><br class="Apple-interchange-newline"><blockquote type="cite">Hi,<br><br>I have uploaded image stacks (Deltavision) into Omero, using the 'archive' option.
