Yes, I did not install our OME. I came to know from our installer that there are conflicts with the version of perl on OME and the version on our network path. I have to add some things to my .profile file. Currently, I am out of town and so will have to wait till I get back (I don't have access to our network from outside). Will do that and let you know whether that works after I get back.

-Kasthuri

----- Original Message ----

From: Ilya Goldberg <igg@nih.gov>
To: Kasthuri Srinivasan Kannan <kasthurisrinivasan@yahoo.com>
Cc: ome-users@lists.openmicroscopy.org.uk
Sent: Monday, January

This
result
indicates
that
there
are
some
very
strange
things
going
on
with
your
OME
system,
or
possibly
in
how
you're
using
it.

The

(dgas-templates.pl,
parseDGASannotations.pl)
have
to
be
executed
on
the
very
same
OME
system
that
you're
pointing
your
browser
at.
It
appears
that
there
are
two
separate
OME
systems
in
play
here.
One
is
in
somewhere
in
/n/
site/inst/
(from
the
command
line
errors),
and
another
one
is
somewhere
in
/usr/lib/perl5/site_perl/
(from
the
browser
error).

I

state,
but
this
isn't
going
to
work
unless
you're
talking
to
the
very
same
OME
system
from
your
browser
and
from
the
command
line,
and
this
doesn't
appear
to
be
the
case.

I
