Hi Kai,

As always, thanks for your support and enthusiasm. Since Bio-Format 5.3.x includes the model changes
introduced in Bio-Formats 5.2.0, it will not be included in any OMERO 5.2.x release.

Instead, OMERO 5.3.0 will ship Bio-Formats 5.3.x. We have just published a blog post [1]
detailing the roadmap for this major release of OMERO.

Today we are releasing OMERO 5.2.7. This is a release aimed at system administrators or developers wanting to build OMERO with Ice 3.6.3.

This release also upgrades the version of Bio-Formats which OMERO uses to 5.1.10 [1].

All scripts handling Regions of Interest (ROIs) now support ROI not linked to any plane as defined by the OME Model.

The software is available at:
