[ome-users] Insight login failure

Hi Kieran

Could you give us a bit more explanation about how you originally setup the server, how you created your users (e.g. manually, or using LDAP), whether you've done any system modifications recently such as upgrading or reinstalling OMERO, postgres, or any other OS upgrades, etc. Could you also post the output of `bin\omero config get` (blank out any passwords).

Do you have any other OMERO.servers? For example could you have inadvertently connected to a different one? Have you previously setup OMERO on the same system (e.g. for initial testing)? What other databases do you have on your system?

For some reason today when I tried to connect to my Omero server I was unable to. Upon further inspection I found that all the user profiles I added were missing. I was able to login to root user but there were no other users recorded on the system. I was also able to create a new user from root and then to login to that account.

using the cmd line to
 bin\omero user list
 yields only root and guest accounts.

My database appears to still be there. I am able to connect to it using postgresql. I also am able to launch the postgresql shell and connect to my databases in all previously created users.

server admin diagnostics are normal. Everything appears to be working and writeable.

Is there a way to pull in previously created user profiles with associated data?
