[ome-users] Cannot see images (big damage recovered...)

Thanks Markus in pointing me in the right direction!
I have added a line to my workstation /etc/hosts file
xx.xx.xx.xx horus17
and now I see my images inside OME!

Well, it is a temporary workaround.
so the real question now is:

Why the omeis_url changed with ome admin configuration is not updated?
Beside restarting apache and postgtes, what else should I do to make the change active?
