sorry for not answering ealier
If I understand correctly, you just want to add an entry to a menu 
already available.
Since actions listened to state changes, selection etc,
you should create an action extending the TreeViewerAction (package treeviewer/actions)
then initializes the action in the TreeViewerControl, see how other actions are initialized

To add an item to a menu, go to TreeViewerWin or to the tool bar go to ToolBar. (package treeviewer/view)
